My powerful work ethic and extensive practical experience in golf course management, accompanied by education from UMASS, have helped guide me to this point of success in my career.  I have gained the knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a high level of golf course management skills that will amply enable me to produce results in the future.

 

First and foremost, I am very knowledgeable in managing and implementing aggressive cultural practices as a result of my experience gained at well-regarded clubs like Nantucket Golf Club, where I currently work. Over the years, I have conducted a variety of processes including aeration, verticutting, topdressing, mowing and water management on complex playing surfaces.

 

Regarding management, I have been involved with developing, operating, implementing and maintaining the transparency and accountability of both the operating and capital budgets.  Additionally, over the last few years I have become increasingly adept in organizing and budgeting for a variety of construction projects.  All the while, honing my environmental knowledge, particularly at Nantucket Golf Club where we are known for numerous native areas and sanctuaries.

 

In addition to my professional highlights, I also value a strong family. I have been married for several years, and my wife is in the club business as well -- she works at a local yacht club and is charged with payroll, accounting, HR and housing.
